Toowoomba Regional Council is rehabilitating a 1.6km section of Cudmore Road between Watts Siding Road and Woodland Road to improve safety for both light and heavy vehicles.
The works will include excavation and reshaping of the existing pavement and some pavement widening. Access to properties along this section of road will be continuously maintained.
Construction is expected to start in late September 2018 and take approximately four weeks, weather permitting. Works are planned to be undertaken between 6am – 6pm on weekdays.
There may be a requirement to undertake some weekend and night works. Traffic controllers will be in place with delays of five minutes to be expected.
Reduced speed limits will be in place around the works to ensure safety is maintained for construction workers and motorists.
