Mobile muster is an official recycling program of the mobile phone industry - an initiative of the Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association (AMTA). It promotes and encourages the community to recycle mobile phones, batteries and accessories. This will in turn reduce the amount of waste going to landfill. This is a free service.
TRC is an authorised agency of the mobile muster program. There are free collection points at:
- All customer service centres
- Greater Toowoomba Waste Management Facility, O'Mara Road, Wellcamp (proceed to the Recycling Resource Area) and
- Yarraman Library, Cnr Toomey and Douglas Streets, Yarraman
It is important that you delete all personal information from the phone memory and remove the SIM card before disposing of the phone.
