Cardboard recycling - recycle right

You can recycle cardboard at your local waste facility and in your recycle bin (yellow lidded wheelie bin).

Please flatten your boxes and remove all packaging including:

  • plastic sheeting
  • plastic wrap
  • styrofoam
  • foam packaging pellets
  • sponges
  • banding straps
  • timber pallets
  • other general waste

Cardboard mixed with any of these materials is not recyclable and will be sent to landfill.

Waxed cardboard is not accepted in the cardboard recycling area and is to be disposed of as general waste to landfill.
