Current water restrictions

From 9 October, residents living in Cambooya have been moved to high level water restrictions.

As a result of the ongoing drought, groundwater supplies in the area are under significant stress. Water is being transported to Cambooya to ensure residents in the area continue to have a secure supply. You may notice water trucks in the Cambooya area on weekdays and weekends. The water may be transported from Toowoomba Bulk Water supply, which is a fluoridated supply.

Allowed watering times can be found under the 'High level restrictions' slider below.

Water restrictions are in place across our whole Region. Find out what this means for you below.

All residents are urged to minimise water usage at all times to preserve existing supplies. Private bore water users are also requested to reduce usage where possible as aquifer levels throughout the region are stressed.

Water restriction levels & allowed watering times

Allowed watering times for each water restriction level can be found in the sliders below.

A summary of allowed watering times can be found in the PDF or list below. For more detailed information about the use of water when under low level water restrictions please read our 'Low level restrictions - regulations for everyday use' article.
