Services we provide

Our cemetery staff can liaise with your funeral director to make all the necessary arrangements to use a new interment site, or to re-use an existing site. Once an application has been received from the funeral director, we will issue an interment permit. We keep a record of the site number, name of deceased, age of deceased etc.

Our cemetery grounds persons arrange for the digging of the grave and where possible, for facilities to be available at the funeral service such as a grave lowering device, temporary shelter, chairs etc.

If you wish to find out if another interment can take place in an existing grave, please speak to your funeral director or contact us.

Purchasing a plaque from us

We have a wide range of plaques available for purchase and are happy to provide a quotation for the supply and installation of a memorial plaque. As memorial choices are endless, please look at the designs in the Cemetery - Memorial plaque designs (PDF for print) or contact us so we can assist with your options.

While we endeavour to maintain the cemeteries to the highest possible standards, families are responsible for repairs to headstones/plaques resulting from wear and tear over time. If you would like to put a new plaque, headstone or monument on an old grave, an application and relevant fee is required to be lodged with us by the legal representative.

Purchasing a plaque from a stone mason

Alternatively, you may make your own arrangements with a stone mason. Should you chose this option, a permit is required together with lodgement of the relevant fee.
