A new water reservoir and distribution main at Charlton will facilitate population and industry growth in the Charlton and Wellcamp area with the provision of a reliable and secure water supply. This area is currently serviced from a single connection to the Toowoomba – Oakey pipeline.
The Nass and Wirth Roads trunk water main project is part of the Toowoomba Enterprise Hub Stimulus Project for which we have received a funding commitment of over $4.5 million under the State Government's Building Our Regions - Round 2 program. The project has received a further funding commitment of over $2 million under the State Government's Building Our Regions - Round 3 program.
