Exemption certificates

The option to give an exemption certificate is a feature under the Planning Act 2016. An exemption certificate can be given by an assessment manager (i.e. Local Government) which overrides the requirement for a development approval for assessable development.  The exemption certificate will only be for the development proposed at the time the certificate is issued.
