The International Relations Strategy is our key strategic document to guide the development of international relationships that promote Toowoomba Region as an internationally connected region, leveraging global networks to enhance urban, economic and social development.

We have a strong history of international partnerships through Sister City connections. Our Sister City relationships have provided Toowoomba Region with the opportunity to share cultures, build friendships, learn from each other, develop business and provide economic benefit. 

International partnerships can help to provide the Toowoomba Region with the knowledge and support required to develop and maintain a liveable, sustainable and globally competitive city.
