Adoption of Temporary Local Planning Instrument 01/2024 (Table of Assessment for Building Work)

Notice is hereby given under the Planning Act 2016 that on 13 February 2024, Toowoomba Regional Council adopted the Temporary Local Planning Instrument 01/2024 – Table of Assessment for Building Work (TLPI 01/2024).

The TLPI 01/2024 will commence on 16 February 2024. The TLPI 01/2024 will cease to have effect on 16 February 2026 or when proposed Toowoomba Regional Planning Scheme (or any related amendments) comes into effect, whichever occurs first.

The purpose of TLPI 01/2024 is to confirm the assessment levels for building work identified in Table 5.7:1 – Building Work of the Toowoomba Regional Planning Scheme.

The TLPI applies to the whole of the Toowoomba Regional Council planning scheme area.

A copy of TLPI 01/2024 is available for viewing on the Toowoomba Regional Council website, www.tr.qld.gov.au from 16 February 2024 and for inspection and purchase at Council’s customer service centres located at:
