Water use on nurseries, turf farms and market gardens

Water from the reticulated (town) supply system cannot be used for watering commercial stock and production areas EXCEPT where:

  1. the watering is conducted in accordance with a water conservation plan (WCP) prepared in accordance with the WCP Guidelines that has been submitted to the service provider for approval but has not yet been approved; or
  2. the watering is conducted in accordance with an approved water conservation plan prepared in accordance with the WCP Guidelines and where a service provider approved sign is displayed on the premises.

The requirements in this restriction apply to premises that are within Restrictions 1.3. Compliance with Restrictions 1.3 does not in any way reduce the obligation to fully comply with the requirements of this Restriction.
