Memorials and plaques ensure that our community continue to honour our people, culture, environment, history and events. We have developed a policy to provide a compassionate and consistent approach to the placement of memorials and plaques within the region's parks and open spaces.

Each application for a memorial or plaque within an open space will be assessed on the demonstrated significance of the subject with regard to the proposed location and social/cultural contribution.
