The Darling Downs Zoo, Queensland's newest zoo, offers a great family day out with an array of animal encounters on offer.

The privately owned zoo is located midway between Toowoomba and Warwick on the beautiful eastern Darling Downs, showcasing animals from Africa, South America, Southeast Asia and Australia. 

As a visitor, you'll notice the animals are housed in appropriate social groupings and naturalistic themed habitats. The zoo specialises in the captive husbandry and breeding of many critically endangered, endangered and vulnerable species from around the world.

 

The zoo is open to visitors daily 9am to 4pm.

Closed Christmas Day.
