Toowoomba New Years Eve

Thank you to all patrons who took the opportunity to use free buses for the Triple M Mayoral Carols by Candlelight event. Buses will run again from key locations to and from Queens Park on Wednesday 31 December for NYE.

Forget the hassle of finding a park, battling traffic or walking long distances, just jump on a free bus and let the festivities begin stress-free at this wonderful community event!

There’s no need for attendees to book a ticket, simply look up the timetable below, be there, and hop on a special event bus to get to and from Queens Park.

  • Subject to demand, additional 'Come Back' services may operate with buses on standby to assist in moving patrons from Queens Park following the event. 
  • All buses are wheelchair, mobility and stroller accessible.
  • These are special event services running express. They will not be stopping at usual bus stops along their routes. Only locations mentioned above, or in the map below, will be used for pick-up and set down.
  • They are free services, and no ticket is required. Event attendees are asked to arrive at their location for pick up at least 10 minutes before the above scheduled times.
  • The above schedule is subject to change depending on traffic conditions and post-event demand.
