Our Development Compliance Section is able to provide copies of plans for approved building works in relation to certain properties that have been constructed since 1975. Details are not available for any construction prior to the enactment of the Building Act 1975.
Copies of approved building plans can be obtained by completing the online Approved plans for building and structures form.
You will be contacted and advised if approved plans are available. In the event that plans are no longer available, we will refund the applicable paid fees.
Written permission is required from the draftsperson for copyright purposes. You will be advised details of the person or company responsible for drafting the plans to allow you to contact them.
Once we have received written permission from the draftsperson, your request will be processed and you will be contacted again when the plans are ready to be collected or posted.
